Welcome to Valley View Cattery
We are a fully licensed and insured boarding cattery located in Worthing, West Sussex.
Set in a peaceful residential location in Findon Valley, the cattery is owned and managed by Caroline Torode – a retired veterinary nurse.
With just 7 chalets, and Caroline living on site, each cat receives plenty of individual attention during their stay.
Every chalet has the facility to be heated in the winter months, a raised sleeping area and its own exercise pen.
There are sneeze barriers between adjoining pens, to avoid direct contact.
Owners are very welcome to bring special blankets and/or toys to give the final ‘home from home’ touch.

We currently need to take all bookings by telephone only, though you can email us with any general enquiries.
We are open all year round. During holiday times (school summer holidays, Easter and Christmas) we are likely to be busier, so you’ll need to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Viewings are welcomed but are strictly by appointment. This is a planning regulation due to the residential location of the cattery. Parking is available on our drive or on the road. We would ask that all visitors respect our neighbours, and keep neighbouring driveways clear. Your consideration is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions about our facilities, please feel free to contact us.
During The Stay
Any cat requiring treatment during their holiday will be taken to Crossways Veterinary Surgery which is also located in Findon Valley. This will ensure prompt treatment and the minimum of travelling and stress.
We reserve the right to refuse admittance any cat showing signs of being unwell, until a veterinary surgeon has examined the cat, and is happy that there is no risk to other cats holidaying here. ALL cats must have a current vaccination certificate which must be produced on arrival. This is essential to ensuring a happy and healthy environment.
We stock a variety of both wet and dry foods but any prescription diets must be supplied by the owner. Special treats will be labelled and given to your cat according to your instructions. We regret that we cannot accept diabetic cats.
Pricing
Our basic charge per day is £18.50, which includes food and litter.
There is a standard £2.50 insurance cover per cat, per stay.
There are no hidden extras – and cuddles are free!

3 cats £40.00
There is a basic minimum charge of £50 for short stays of 1 or 2 nights.

Payments
All costs must be paid in full on collection. A full day’s boarding is charged for arrival day, but if your cat is collected before 11am, only a half-day will be charged for collection day. Long term boarders must pay on a monthly basis.
Payments may be made by online bank transfer (prior to collection) or cash, and these are our preferred methods of payment.
Cancellations
We reserve the right to make a cancellation fee of 50% if less than 2 week’s notice is given of cancelling, so please keep us informed of any change in your plans.
Please note: None-attendance or early collection by the customer – with less than 48 hours’ notice – will result in a charge for 100% fees.
